== S-I-C-K

Ugh lool im sick == well  beginning of a very pain-in-the-neck time. I had a sore throat late yesterday afternoon xD after Salvos door knocking event. And this morning it got worse and now i got the sniffles== and a lot of AAAACHOO!

anyways
yesterday my friends and i volunteered for the annual Red Shield Appeal Door Knocking event. We had to go around a certain area and door knock and ask for donations! Then we have to fill in a receipt and give the receipt to the people. My friends and I finished our designated area within 5 hours. Finished at around 3pm.

At first it was depressing for a friend of mine haha xD coz nearly every house she went do didnt donate! XD Whereas me and  the other friend managed to get $10s $5s $2s we were laughin at her.

Then it got better a lil and we were tired. My friend got a lot of coins so her bag broke. We gave her another of our friend's bag == and tat broke within the next hour or so haha She was lookin at my bag and i was saying "dont think about it!" So i fixed her bag for her xD

Then there was a part where my friend couldnt reach for the door bell - it was up too high and she had height problems LOL okay shes short xD and i was like im gonna take a photo while laughing haha and she posed! XD rofl and i was like omfg u look proud! haha and the next house was like that for her too. She had to reach on her toes xD

So we were walkin and really tired. We often sat in the middle of a pathway and rested. Then we continued and my friend was like ah ah ah ah *points* and backin away from me and another friend. We were like o.o wat she doing == *ignores* Then we heard like..gruffing behind us...like gruf..gruf...LOL and sorta like grunting/snorting then i was like screaming with my friend and we were running away. Turns out we were walking right against a fence with a VERy big black dog xD scary! haha My friend laughed and went didn't you guys got my warning!? and we were liek WAT KIND OF WARNING WAS THAT?! haha

Okay so what else...hmm..we had a lot of compliments like"good job!" and stuff haha. There was this lady who i was meant to get donations off and i had to write her a receipt but then my phone went off. I had to pick it up and it was my dad. I wanted to write the receipt and hang up, but the lady stopped me saying "keep going keep going" and she ended up writing her own receipt. XD she's so nice hhaha Apparently i freaked her out too. coz when she opened the door i think i was standing too close to the door hahaha xD oops!

Omg my friends and I visited a house that had 3 lil doggies. They were so friendly! jumping up and down and licking us haha soo cuute!!!! XD Then there were other houses that had people in the front yard and we were like yelling "HI WE'RE WITH THE SALVOS!" and they seemed like they were completely ignoring us! >.<


When we finally got back to the office we had lots of sausage sizzles and cordial to drink! We also got a certificate! ^^ Me and CC ate like 3 sausage sizzles ROFL and the most unexpected - the lil one ate like 4! haha She was hungry coz she didnt eat breakky. But it was funny, coz an old man was serving and he turned around saying "oh someone wants more do they?" xD then he was like "oh its you again, im sure u were slimmer last year! okay okay here you go" hhaha and the workers there were laughn xD me and CC were crackin up hahaha =]

It was a very fun and TIRING day =]
