R.I.P Nona Belosmoff

*sigh Theres this girl named Nona Belosmoff. She recently died. Her body was found last Thursday in Campbell town creek. She was 18 and killed by a 20 year old. They met on fb, and the 20 yr old (christopher dannevig) lured her to believe that if she went on this so-called "camp" organised by WIRES she'd get a job with WIRES. it's meant to be a training camp. She loved animals and wanted to work within the organisation, and so she went.

Family realised she wasnt home by wednesday, and called the police. Then they found her the next day.

And today mum and i bumped into my mums friend today.
Apparently, she's her niece =[ and she was there to buy nice clothes for her niece to wear for the funeral that will be this week. She was close to crying as she spoke=[ My mum met her niece before and her Nona's mum. They are also friends. My mum told me she was a beautiful girl. =[ Her aunt told us her body is swollen because she was violently hit. I just remembered i think i have met her mother before. Years ago when i was in grade 6 or something i went on a dinner with Nona's mother and her aunt.

Poor girl. I find it stupid for her to go and meet some stranger over the net by herself and that her family didnt even go and check who this person is. But i feel sorry for her and her family. She mustve been desperate for the job. It's hard to understand, but i think if i was in her position i mightve considered. She prolly did wait for this opportunity for such a long long time.

Coincidentally, another girl was meant to go on the day too. Known as Kristie, she got dressed and was ready to go on the day. However for some reason, she didnt feel right and didnt go. I think if she did go, its likely none of them wouldve died. But it was also lucky that she didnt go. She apologised in the newspapers.

An innocent girl lost forever. Her family must be feeling the pain of losing someone at the moment. She is at a place where she won't ever feel pain while her family grieves this loss.
