*yawn

So dam tired LOL today just had an English assessment task. Everyone's been worrying about it for the past week. It's on a Shakespeare play we studied at school. Some did Othello and others were King Lear.
Had to write a transcript while explaining the idea about how moral choices shape the identity of each character.
I didnt finish - wrote 3 pages. I hope i at least was on the right track LOL and managed to hit some points from what i wrote! Wow, after the assessment, my fingers waas shaped like the pen! flat on some sides and stuff LOL And it was red and it hurted TT
wow an hr sure went fast tho.  Any how i dont care anymore. = = tryin not to think, coz the more i think about it more i begin to suspect i might not have done as well or didnt do it right LOL

Theres another one tomorrow - i THINK its easier. Coz it has questions which you answer to and u watch a scene twice. So ye.haha hope i can make up for it here. Anyways i have something much important to talk about.

Progeria never heard of it? it's an AGEING disease. CHILDREN have this and they age EIGHT TIMES faster than an average person. Most usually die BEFORE 15.

Video

It is caused by an abnormal Thymine  instead of a Cytosine within the gene.A simple typo which causes this devastating illness - so far there is NO CURE.
However, an american family decided that Progeria wont take away their lil boy, and with their medical background along with other scientists helping, they developed a drug.  This drug isnt officially a cure yet, it is still being tested. It was a success on two mice. One with the same illness as the other was treated with the drug, and survived. The other became weaker by the minute.

The children are those suffering, however they are the most positive within their family. They are the source of courage and optimism for their parents and relatives. Unfortunately the parents have to sit and watch as their lil boy or girl slowly age - knowing one day they will die. One mother was most unhappy when they go on the streets, and people stare at her daughter. But her daughter says  that people only look at her because she's beautiful

I praise these strong little humans - and i wish they quickly find a cure. Bless you lil ones!!!
