USYD

The week from 17th to 21st of January 2011 I attended the HSC prep course for english adv at USYD. =] 5 days and i'm glad i went.

It was fun haha learnt new stufff and experienced a uni students life..kinda well

everyday met my friend at 1130am at the train station. rode to central station. got off, got on a bus and then went to USYD. on the first day was a bit nervous haha not fond of new places - and few days before that i wanted to refund my money and not go haha  (glad i didnt do that)

The teacher was Robert Dickins, a retired english teacher who until recent years, was teaching hsc eng=] He was a kind, friendly funny and fabulous teacher=]
The class was filled with at least 20 people haha and it was a class of smarties!
Each day, my friend and I would be there about 45mins early haha and then we'd explore the place.
Monday- went to the uni's museum where we looked at mummies
Tuesday- explored one of its librarys - loads of books jst on one topic // after class went to strathfield to eat yummy food
Wednesday- went to the park nxt door and had some fun=] and saw a kookaburra so cute// after class went to strathfield for some yummy korean food again
Thursday - went to the park and walked along the bridge lookin at the ducks and such.
Friday - Went early and arrived at the CBD at 1030am. Went to circular quay to look at the MCA and then the Rocks. Afterwards we headed to townhall and bumped into a classmate who together, we went to buy lunch and quickly rushed to class via bus haha=]

The uni has multiple open areas with green grass and its just peaceful sitting there with quietness and birds and the constant breeze. i kept identifying picnic spots hahaha xD sometimes im like "omg we can have a picnic here!" or "we need to have one here too" hahaha xD. The teacher was really helpful, and explained  a lot and taught us how to view stuff in a different way and etc. He went through every skill needed to successfully complete Paper 1 of the HSC papers=]

We met a new friend and his name was Lawrence =] he seemed like a nice guy but haha wow he lives really far and goes to a school near bondi=] He is canto also! haha =] Hope we meet again =D 

I want to go back again, i Miss those days
